Privacy Policy

What data we collect

We collect nothing. MLS Communicator has no backend server, no database, no analytics, and no accounts. There is no "we" in the traditional sense — the extension runs entirely inside your browser.

What data you enter and where it lives

When you set up your profile, the following information is saved:

• Your full name
• Brokerage or company name
• DRE license number
• Mobile phone number
• Email address
• Signature style preference
• Any customized message templates

This data is stored exclusively in Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API, which syncs your preferences across your own Chrome profile. It is never transmitted to any server operated by this extension.

Page content we read

When you visit an MLS listing page, the extension reads the visible page content to extract the listing agent's name, phone number, and property address. This information is:

• Processed locally in your browser
• Used only to populate the message composer in the side panel
• Never stored persistently (cleared when you close the tab)
• Never sent anywhere outside your browser

Third-party services

MLS Communicator does not use any third-party analytics, tracking pixels, crash reporters, or advertising networks. No data is shared with any third party for any reason.

Permissions explained

The extension requests these Chrome permissions:

• storage — saves your profile and templates locally in Chrome
• sidePanel — shows the extension UI as a persistent side panel
• clipboardWrite — copies your generated message when you click "Copy"
• activeTab / tabs — reads the current tab to detect agent info; refreshes when you switch tabs
• Host access (<all_urls>) — MLS listings appear on hundreds of different broker and portal domains; broad host access lets the extension work on whichever site you're browsing

Children's privacy

MLS Communicator is a professional tool intended for licensed real estate agents. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Because no data is collected, there is no practical impact on users from any policy change.
